On October 19th, the Center for Public Policy Innovation and Homeland Security Dialogue Forum hosted the fourth event in a series on Propelling Federal IT into the 21st Century. The panel discussion centered on embracing enterprise agility across the federal space. The expert group of panelists included:

- Luke McCormack, former Chief Information Officer, Departments of Homeland Security & Justice (moderator)
- Harrison Smith, Chief Procurement Officer (Acting), Internal Revenue Service
- Renee Wynn, Chief Information Officer, NASA
The panelists discussed a range of important issues including how agile approaches can help reduce risk, different contracting models to deliver capability more quickly, the acknowledgment that nearly every acquisition has an IT component, and the transformation of the supply chain in recent years and how this presents new security challenges.
