The Center for Public Policy Innovation (CPPI) and Homeland Security Dialogue Forum (HSDF) on July 26th hosted an informative discussion around federal IT modernization efforts. A group of expert panelists that included federal CIO Suzette Kent, senior Hill staff, and a leading industry representative addressed the following questions: What are the keys to success to modernize environments? Why is it challenging to transition legacy systems to the cloud? How can federal agencies take advantage of emerging technologies to enhance security and intelligence of systems?
